Nemuri (Sleep)
First Performed by: Yakushi Kabuto
Type of Technique: GenJutsu
Chapter: 113
A Genjutsu technique where the ninja places their hand on their target's shoulder and forces them into a deep slumber. A useful technique when subterfuge is involved with a mission, but utterly useless in combat.
Nemurihane (Feather Sleep)
First Performed by: Yakushi Kabuto
Type of Technique: GenJutsu
Chapter: 114
A Genjutsu technique where the ninja targets a mass of people and puts them to sleep. Illusory feathers appear to rain upon them, and they will then fall into a deep slumber. More useful than the simple Nemuri (Sleep) Genjutsu, this technique is still useless in combat, as most superior shinobi know Genjutsu Kai (Genjutsu Release) to counter it, and as it takes quite a lot of focus to target many people.
Nikudan Sensha (Meat Tank)
First Performed by: Akimichi Chouji
Type of Technique: TaiJutsu
Chapter: 55
A Taijutsu technique incorporating the Baika no Jutsu (Multi-size no Jutsu). Once the ninja's body has become massive, they tuck their arms, legs, and head into their body and become a lumbering ball of meat. In this state, they can control their speed, direction, and jump while keeping the momentum of a boulder-sized orb of flesh that can tear through practically any obstacle. It takes some skill to use this as the ninja becomes disoriented afterwards. This technique is exclusive to the Akimichi clan.
Ningyoushibai no Koutetsu (Steel Puppet Show)
First Performed by: Tenten
Type of Technique: NinJutsu
Chapter: 73
A Ninjutsu technique following the Soushouryu (Rising Twin Dragons). With the ground littered with weapons, the ninja threads their chakra around them all, controlling them like a marionette. The attacker then raises them all and launches them as a torrential downpour of steel, making dodging them almost impossible.
First performed by Tenten in episode forty-three of the anime. It has not been seen in the manga, yet, but seems sensible to have been used in chapter seventy-three in her fight against Temari.
Ni no Hoshi (Second Star)
First Performed by: Temari
Type of Technique: TaiJutsu
Chapter: 73
A continuation of the Taijutsu technique Ichi no Hoshi (First Star). In this stage of the technique, the second dot shows, unfolding two-thirds of the full fan. It is then swung, creating a larger, more powerful gust of wind able to deflect any projectile weapons. First performed by Temari in episode forty-three of the anime, presumably chapter seventy-three of the manga during her fight with Tenten. It is first truly seen in chapter one hundred and six.
